2023 marks the third year of Beanvent from 'Feind Coffee. Starting in 2021 the team based in Queensland set out to bring coffee lovers around Australia and the world 24 individual serves from roasters all over Australia. Now a Christmas staple at my house the Beanvent calendar is a sensory delight bringing some of the most interesting regions and processes provided by some Australia's best coffee roasters.
I tried photographing each day the first year to not much success, the chaos of life, especially in December time. 2022 I was determined to photograph daily and did so using only natural light sources. For 2023 I decided to up the production and bring in artificial lighting into each shot trying to make as many as possible look like they could be natural.
